Beauty of Divergence Project
Hello, my name is Hanna Ondrasek, and I am the creator of the Beauty of Divergence project, which is currently part of my Girl Scouts Gold Award. I created this project and website for non-disabled people to gain a better understanding of the disabled experience by getting questions they may have always wondered answered by the disabled community. Oftentimes, people with disabilities are spoken over by able people, especially when it comes to misrepresentation in media. By hearing from actual people with disabilities, able people will gain a better understanding on how real people with disabilities struggle in an able friendly society, and be motivated to protect and uplift people with disabilities in their community, and possibly even the world.
